Alison Shaw Walker

Alison Shaw Walker passed away November 16, 2025, at Azura Memory Care and Assisted Living in Fox Point, Wisconsin. She was born February 7, 1966 in Racine and attended Racine Unified Schools, graduating from William Horlick High School in 1985. She was a member of the Junior Varsity Swim Team, swimming distance events. Upon graduating, she was employed at St. Monica's Senior Citizens Home for five years. She then moved to Lambs Farm in Libertyville, Illinois.

During her thirty years there, she worked for Dominick's Foods, Great Lakes Naval Base and Goodwill Industries. She moved to Azura in Fox Point in 2024.

Special Olympics were one of her favorite activities. She excelled in basketball, tennis and track competitions, bringing home many medals. She especially enjoyed concerts, especially John Denver and Willie Nelson, two of her favorites. She will be loved and remembered for her sense of humor, spontaneity, love of life and her famous toasts at family dinners.

She is survived by her parents, Mary and Willard Walker; sisters, Sara Walker, Molly McCarty(Christopher); brother, Willard T. Walker Jr. (Deborah); and nieces and nephews, Willard Walker III, (Tong Gu), Samuel Walker, Benjamin Walker, Henry Allen, Charlotte Allen, Gordon Allen and William Allen.

Her family wishes to express enduring gratitude to Lambs Farm and to the Azura staff and hospice team for their outstanding care, love and compassion.
