Audrey Bonnar Obituary
August 14, 1934 - November 7, 2025
Audrey Bonnar, age 91, of Racine passed away Friday, November 7, 2025 at Ascension All Saints Medical Center. She was born in Saskatchewan, Canada on August 14, 1934, daughter of the late Frank and Anna (Nee: Grazdale) Zboril.
Audrey was a graduate of St. Catherine's High School, "Class of 1952." On June 25, 1955, she was united in marriage to Daniel Thomas Bonnar, who preceded her in death on November 11, 1982.
Audrey owned and operated Bonnar's Sausage Shop from 1961 until 1971, at that time she was a cateress at Lee's Deli until her retirement in 2023. Audrey was a member of St. Edward Catholic Church and the Mother's and Twins Club, where she made lifelong friends, enjoying dinner engagements and frequent get togethers. Above all it was time spent with her family that she cherished most.
She was loved dearly and will be sadly missed by her sons, Richard (Lorraine) Bonnar, twins, William and James Bonnar; grandchildren, Seara and Michael Bonnar; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her eldest son, David Bonnar, her sister, Jeanette (Thomas) Berbaum, and her brother, Leslie (Charlotte) Zboril.
A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating Audrey's life will be held at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at St. Edward Catholic Church, 1430 Grove Ave., with Rev. Michael Peterson officiating. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet for Visitation on Wednesday at 10 a.m. to the time of Mass at the church. Private interment will take place at Calvary Cemetery.
The Bonnar family would like to thank all of the doctors and nurses at Ascension All Saints and Compassus for their dedication and compassionate care.
