Dear friends who have visited this website: Thank you for your thoughts and prayers at this time of sorrow. Cass was a dynamic and unique person. To know her was to love her and we all did in our own special way. She is at peace and in a far better place. She enriched the lives of everyone who knew her. We will all miss her. I was sorry to hear of the loss of Cassie. Over the years, it was really fun getting to know John and Cass. Cass was such an inspiration and easy going person, and she always made me feel special. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Johnnie and Kelly.

Uncle John, John & Kelly, I was so sorry to learn about Aunt Cass's illness. I know no words can make things better right now, but to be able to know and spend time with someone that was as genuine and true to herself as Aunt Cass was is a blessing, I am glad I was able to experience a small part of that. How do you write something profound about someone who could write and expressing themselves so amazingly? My attempt would be futile but I can simply say that I am honored to be able to say that I had a wonderful relationship with my Aunt Cassie. She always made me feel special. To my cousins who are like siblings and my uncle who is one of my best friends, I love you always and I enjoy every moment we share, recalling old memories and making new ones every day.

I met Cass at J-Wax, and we became fast friends, only after realizing my husband grew up with her on Carlisle Ave, what a shock, to find each other again as grown-ups. A good time was always had at the COLEY house she was the best cook and hostess, always a smile and always positive thoughts she did not let anything stand in her way, We both had breast cancer and survived and that even brought us closer. I love you Cass your friends Always Scott and Ivy Minton.
