David Siegert Obituary
September 21, 1971 - June 4, 2025
David Frederick Siegert, 53, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 4, 2025, surrounded by his loving family after a valiant battle against stage 4 kidney cancer.
David was born in Racine, WI, on September 21, 1971, to Dr. Robert and Mrs. Susan (Kott) Siegert.
On June 5, 2020, Dave met Christine Duncan and he knew from that day she would change everything. Dave and Chrissy were united in marriage on July 12, 2024. They celebrated their love with many friends and family on October 12, 2024.
Dave is survived by his loving wife Chrissy; their four-legged son Dobby; his parents Dr. Robert and Mrs. Susan Siegert; siblings John and Gina Siegert, Lynn and Greg Giles; his in-laws, the Duncan and Martinez families; many special family members and very dear friends.
Dave was preceded in death by his black lab Ripley; paternal grandparents, Dr. Rudolph B. and Mrs. Margaret (Twiss) Siegert; maternal grandparents, John and Hazel (Harris) Kott; aunt Judy Kott Krueger; uncles, Rudy Siegert and Dr. Phil Siegert; cousins, Ann Siegert Underwood, Amy Siegert and Daniel Johnson.
A Memorial Service celebrating Dave's life will be held at 5:00 pm at the funeral home, Friday, June 13, 2025. Relatives and friends are welcome to meet with the family for Visitation on Friday at 2:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in David's name have been suggested to the following organizations: Saint Baldrick's Foundation, Wisconsin Humane Society-Racine Campus, or the Blessed Solanus Casey Center.
David and his family extend their deepest appreciation to oncologist Dr. Michael Mullane; nurse practitioner Kristin Maney; infusion nurse Chantel; and two very special ICU nurses Kristine and Marisella.
We are grateful to all who followed along on Dave's Journey - your love and support meant the world to David and all of us.

I worked with dave at the hospital. Funny, dry wit. Very handy and giving; if had more than 2 hands I'm sure he'd lend them out too. Later, when he grew the zz top beard, I saw so many people who looked like him but weren't. Well, he was one of a kind and my condolences to Chrissy. All in all, a good man.
