Edith Beal Obituary

EDITH E. BEAL RACINE - Edith E. (nee: Epperson) Beal, with her loving family by her side, 66, passed away early Wednesday morning at her daughter's home. Edith was born in Springfield, Mo., daughter of the late Noah and Esther (nee: Wilson) Epperson. On November 25, 1967 in Chicago, Ill., Edith was united in marriage to Robert O. Beal, who preceded her in death December 14, 2002. Edith enjoyed crossword puzzles. More than anything, she loved and cherished her time spent with her family. Edith made sure every family gathering was special. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and dear friend to many. Survivors include her children, Annetta (Clayton) Hoyle, Janetta (Jeffery) Bernal, Richard Melton, Steven Melton; grandchildren, Aaron, Cassandra, Elizabeth, Danielle, Brandon, Tyler, Kyle; brothers, Sherman (Rose) Epperson, Delbert Epperson; nieces, nephews, other relatives and dear friends. In addition to her parents and husband, Edith was also preceded in death by her two grandchildren, Bobby Gus and Katlynn. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home Saturday January 26, 2008, 1 p.m., with Chaplain Julie Curcio officiating. Private interment will be held. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the funeral home Saturday from 11:30 a.m. until time of services. The family extends a special thank you to the entire staff at Home and Hospice Advantage for all of their loving and compassionate care. Annetta and Janetta, I was shocked to hear of your mom passing. I'll always remember the great times all of us had. Sorry I didn't find out sooner, I would of liked to of come to the wake and seen everyone. Take care, love you guys! Chuckie Hird
