I am sorry to learn of Ed's death. My father, Lester, and I recall many tennis sessions with Ed at the Wisconsin Racquet Club - Racine'WI. I recall one particular time when riding with Ed and his car's horn wasn't working. When passing another car it was the front passenger's duty to knock on the windshield and make noise to alert the car we wanted to pass. Ed's favorite tennis partner at that time was Marv Whefel(sp). Ed was always a gentleman and a fun person to be around.

To Lois and the family, I played tennis with Ed as my doubles partner in many a match in both USTA matches and the Metro Milwaukee league as well. Ed had the quickest hands on the court as anyone I have ever played with. I'm sorry to hear of his passing.
My thoughts and prayers are with you all at this time.
