Frank Stindle Obituary
RACINE - Frank Stindle, 94, was called home to be with the Lord. Frank was born in Racine, on August 30, 1911, to Ben and Frances (nee: Sys) Stindle. He was united in marriage to Lucille Rehl on May 26, 1934. She preceded him in death on December 28, 1995. Webster Electric employed Frank for 40 years where he was a Foreman for heat treat as well as other departments, retiring in 1973. He was a board member, secretary and internal auditor at various times for the Webster Electric Credit Union. He is also a past member of the American Society of Metals. Frank was an avid golfer and bowler in the factory and retiree leagues and was proud to have a bench placed in his honor overlooking the 18th green at Johnson's Park. He is survived by his sons, Richard (Marlene) Stindle, Thomas (Patti) Stindle; sister, Dorothy McGrath; son-in-law, James Schimanski; grandchildren, Michael (Linda) Schimanski of Stoughton, Joseph (Sylvia) Schimanski, Edward (Michelle) Schimanski, Julie (Donovan) Fannin, Jeff Schimanski, Tracy (James) Foren of Chesapeake, Va., Randy (Vicky) Stindle, Kevin (Danielle) Stindle, of Fisher, Ind., Jennifer (Dave) McIntyre of Poynette; 13 great-grandchildren; and his very special friend Loretta Galis. He was preceded in death by his father and mother; daughter, Sally Schimanski; two great granddaughters; brothers, Ben, John (Florence) Stindle, Edward (Celia) Stindle; sister, Frances (Eric) Olander; and nephew Richard Olander; father-in--law, John Rehl; and mother-in-law Helen Rehl; in-laws, John McGrath, Robert and Irene Strouse, James and Florence Keil and Howard and Leon Rehl. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Tuesday, August 22, 2006, 7 p.m., with Rev. John D. Aiello officiating. Private interment will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery, Highway 32. Relatives and friends may meet with the family at the church Tuesday from 5 p.m. until time of the Mass. The family extends a special thank you to the entire staff at Lincoln Village Convalescent Center for their loving and compassionate care.
