Fred C. Worden

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - Fred C. Worden, 93, formerly of Racine, passed away in Chapel Hill, N.C. on Monday, July 4, 2005. He is survived by one brother, Francis Worden of Racine; three children, Don Worden of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Curtis Worden (Barbara) of Rockford, Ill., and Stephanie Worden Meyer (Nanty) of Chapel Hill, N.C.; a daughter-in-law, Greta Worden of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; seven grandchildren, Peter, Chris, and Jon Worden of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., Skip Worden of Madison, Jeff Worden of Chicago, Ill., Scott Worden of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Anders Meyer of Baltimore Md.; several great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife of 72 years, Pearl (nee: Larson) Worden, formerly of Racine; two sisters; and a brother. Arrangements are pending. Memorials in his memory may be sent to Shriners Hospitals for Children, 2900 Rocky Point Drive, Tampa, Fla. 33607-1460.
