His other interests included Bridge, travel, and after retirement, cooking and the Harry Potter chronicles. He also loved spending time with his West Highland Terrier, Maddie, going for walks, relaxing outside on a lounge chair, or riding in the car with Maddie hanging out the window. Above all, he loved spending time with his family and caring for his patients. In the last six years, a new happiness came to his life in the form of his grandchildren, Beth, Anna, Ryan, and Will. They fondly referred to him as 'Pago' and loved spending time with him whether reading books or going to the park. Deepest Sympathy to the family of Dr. Ericson, whom was a Dr. to my 2 sons and then finally to me...I've never forgotten how wonderful he was as he made a house call nearly every week to my house, due to hip surgery...He was from the old school a Dr. who cared. May GOD be with you all. Sincerely, Barbara A. Wheeler (Tucson, AZ, formerly of Racine)
