Nancy Mueller Obituary
August 12, 1936 - February 26, 2026
UNION GROVE - Nancy K. Mueller, a.k.a. Nancy K. Jung, 89, of Union Grove, passed away Thursday, February 26, 2026 at her home.
Born in Burlington, Wisc. on August 12, 1936, she was the daughter of Grant and Leona (nee Noble) Christensen. Her early life was spent in Raymond, where she graduated from Waterford High School. On February 26, 1955, she was united in marriage to Ronald Jung. He preceded her in death on April 29, 1997. In November 1984, she was united in marriage to Russell Mueller. He preceded her in death in July 2010.
Nancy worked as a VP of operations manager for Community State Bank and retired after 30 + years of service. She was also co-founder of Jung Trucking. She was a member of St. Robert's Catholic Church and belonged to many different card groups that played sheepshead. She also volunteered at church and the VA Center. She never missed a county fair in over 85 years. She was a fabulous mother and grandmother. She was not only loved by everyone but was a second mother to everyone.
Nancy is survived by her children, Tim (Renee) Jung, Terri (late John) Reichel, Tom (Kathy) Jung, Tammy (Mike) Hall and Todd (Jodi Nechvatel) Jung; grandchildren, Cary Madrigal, John (Jenny) Reichel, Ron Reichel, Tarin (Nick) Cronin, Eddie (Madelynn) Jung, Jerry (Haly) Jung, Kristin (David) Truchan, Donald (Amanda) Hall, Meghan (Jake) Ruppert, Jerrid Luebke, Jenny (Jerry) Rivera and Amber (Mark) Young; twenty great-grandchildren; siblings, Jim (Pat) Christensen and Sharon (Bob) Meier; and sisters-in-law, Marilyn Sarto and Janice Mau.
She was preceded in death by her parents, first husband, Ronald; son-in-law, John Reichel; brother, Richard (Rose) Christensen; sister-in-law, Sharon (Paul) Lohmann; and second husband, Russell Mueller.
Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 12 Noon on Thursday, March 5, 2026 at St. Robert's Catholic Church in Union Grove. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery in Raymond. Relatives and friends can visit with the family at CHURCH on Thursday, March 5th from 9 until 11:45 a.m.
The family would like to thank her caregiver, Gina Sampil and the nursing staff of Compassus Hospice for their care during this time.
