SHIRLEY WHITE Obituary
Relatives and friends may pay their last respects to SHIRLEY ANN WHITE on Tuesday, 21 October at 11am at St. Paul's Anglican Church in Paget.Shirley was the wife of Edmund A. White Jr (deceased), mother of Tracey S. Gibbons (Richard deceased) and Lesley D. White, grandmother of Ryan C. Gibbons and Rhea E. Gibbons, aunt of Stanley Ray (Karen), Linda Wilson (deceased) and Rosalind Ray (deceased), great aunt of Darrien (Zola) Ray, Jarryd Ray, Chris Ray, Renée Showers, Tami Ray, Tina Ray and Lisa Tucker. COLOURS MAY BE WORN. She guided me and many others successfully through exams. She will be remembered for her no nonsense yet caring demeanor. To Tracey, Lesley and family my deepest condolences. My deepest condolences on your bereavement as you mourn the loss of your mom.
I have very fond memories of the times, while canvassing, when I had the honor of sharing her concerns and accepting many of her recommendations for the neighborhood in particular and the country in general. Let us not speak of the amazing Parish Council meetings that she chaired!
Mrs. Shirley was an inspiration to many. I trust that her spirit will live on through her children and grandchildren. I pray that you will all find comfort with the recollection of the many wonderful memories that you created with her. May she Rest In Peace

Tracey and Leslie and Rhea, sending you are heartfelt condolences on the passing of your mom and Grandmother. Mrs. White´s legacy seems to have extended across every facet of our community. Her faith and dedication to the life of St. Paul´s spans decades. In recent years she couldn´t physically attend services regularly and I will miss be able to share our "Christmas baskets of love" with her this year. She was always so diligent to write a sweet thank you note to us. The pleasure was ours to be able to serve and honour her in such a small way for all that she has done and meant to us at St. Paul´s and the wider community.
Mrs. White you have run the race and fought the good fight. May you rest in the arms of our Lord and Saviour and forever rise in glory.

My heartfelt condolences on the passing of your beautiful Mom/Grandmother/Aunt.
She was one of my favorite teachers at Sandys Secondary School and always gave me an encouraging word and telling off whenever I needed it...lol
I will always remember her visit and gift to me on the birth of my first son. I was so surprised that even though i was no longer in school, she thought enough of me to visit and bring a gift. I'm sure that you all have some great memories as well.
