October 28, 1957 - October 18, 2025
Steven C. Stolzoff, 67 years old of Antioch, IL, passed away peacefully Saturday October 18, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born October 28, 1957, in Sterling, IL, the son of the late Donald and Veronica (nee Earhardt) Stolzoff, living in Freeport, IL and Racine, WI, before settling in Antioch, IL in 2019. Before his retirement in 2019, Steven began his career as a D.J. in his younger years, later becoming a proud member of IBEW Local 430, Racine, WI, Electrician. Steve loved watching Sci-Fi movies and shows, playing with his cats, and most of all being with his family. On August 4, 1990, Steve married Denise M Nath in Freeport, IL.
Survivors include: his wife of 35 years, Denise; two sons: Devan and Seth Stolzoff both of Racine, WI; three siblings: Donald (Barbara) Stolzoff of Marietta, GA, Teresa (Steven) Helm of Homewood, IL, and Rona Stolzoff of Sterling, IL; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to his parents, Steven was preceded in death by his daughter Tara on October 12, 2016, a brother David Stolzoff and niece Kristin Helm.
Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM until 12 noon Friday, October 24, 2025, at the STRANG FUNERAL HOME OF ANTIOCH, 1055 Main St. (Rte. 83) Antioch, IL 60002, with a memorial service commencing at 12 noon. In lieu of flowers, donations to Save-A-Pet 31664 N Fairfield Rd, Grayslake, IL 60030, are appreciated in Steven's memory. Please sign the online guest book for Steve at www.strangfh.com.
