Claire Payeur Obituary
SANFORD - Claire A. (St. Amand) Payeur, 79, of Sanford, died at her home on Saturday, Jan. 2, 2016.
Visitation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 5 at the Lafrance- Lambert & Black Funeral Home, 29 Winter St. in Sanford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 6 at St. Therese of Lisieux Parish, Holy Family Church, North Avenue in Sanford.

So sad to hear about Claire, my Mothers dear friend for many years. She was so welcoming when my parents first moved back to Maine many years ago and so supportive to my Mom following the loss of my Dad last spring.

Sending our most sincere condolences to the Payeur and St. Amand families. She was a very special person, warm, welcoming, with a great sense of humor. She loved her family more than anything and enthusiastically talked to my parents about each of you. She was so proud! Her spirit will remain in you.
