NEWBURGH, Maine - Harold E. Gammon. Jr., Sept. 30, 1951 to Nov. 30, 2018.
On Nov. 30 at 11:10 a.m. we lost a beloved soul, son, brother, father, uncle, grandfather, and great grandfather to a terminal illness whom passed away peacefully at his home in Newburgh, Maine with his family by his side.
He was born and raised in Limington, Maine.
He was predeceased by his parents, Harriet Gammon Drummond and Harold E. Gammon, Sr.; a brother Glen Gammon; grandparents Lawrence and Ethel Gammon and Guy and Charla Pike; two aunts; three uncles; his daughter Dorothy Gammon Gooldrup; son-in-law James Gooldrup and wife Donna Smith.
He leaves behind his ex-wife Carol Danis; sons Abraham Gammon, Heath Gammon, Seth Gammon and wife Nicole Gammon; daughters Ashley Gammon Smith and husband Pete Smith, and Kimberly Gammon and fiancé Daryl Dremsa; sisters, Deborah Moore and Annette Gammon; brothers Melvin Gammon, Guy Gammon, Kenneth Drummond, and Duane Drummond and several nieces and nephews. He was honored to have 16 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, as well as many long-time friends that he loved dearly.
For over 40 years he mastered his passion installing floors. He worked for Arthur Neeman at Maine Linoleum and Carpet for over 25 years as well as subcontracting for several years for Bald Billys Carpet Outlet in Scarborough. Harold will be deeply missed, but he will be remembered for his faith, personality, wittiness, kindness, smile, his love for family, and talents- especially playing the guitar.
A celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
