To the entire family of Roy. My late husband Capt "Chick", worked w/him on the fire dept, from 1977 till Roy retired. I remember when he helped us with a minor job we needed at our first house, without hesitation. we were so grateful it was so appreciated. but, he would not accept any compensation for his work. May he rest in peace w/all that have gone before him. Mrs."Chick"

It has been an honor knowing you.
You were an angel for me here on Earth.
Now you are an angel in Heaven.
I so enjoyed our morning and evening talks.
I am truly going to miss you my friend.
Although I am relieved that you are no longer suffering and that you are safely in Heaven where all angels go back.
Rest in Eternal Peace.

Played golf with Roy in the Sun Village Bogie Boys.
He was a gentleman and so much fun on the course.
He and Ruthie loved their winters in Arizona and had many friends there and have been missed since their departure.
Now he can get on the links again if he so wishes.
Ruthie and family you are in our prayers.

Roy Baker was an extraordinary human being, a mentor, a colleague, and a wonderful friend. Roy was a true gentleman; he was an important influence on me at a critical time in my life.
I loved his daughter Linda, my friend, schoolmate and heartthrob from elementary school and throughout my youth. His wife, Ruth, was equally important to me: stunningly beautiful, kind beyond description, gentle and adoring.
Roy was a founding member of The Greatest Generation. I am thrilled to have known him, to have been his friend, and I am very glad that he had such a long, full and happy life with his wonderful family.
Rest in peace my friend,
Buck

To Ruthie, Linda, and the entire Baker Family - please know that my heart grieves for you. Roy was such a kind, caring and genuine friend with a heart as big as the sky. Everyone thought the world of him, and especially his hearty laugh. He was a dedicated "family" man and gave us all some very wonderful memories. We will miss him and his sense of humor, and will hopefully meet him again someday. Rest in Peace my dear friend.
