Alice Graczyk Obituary

Graczyk, Alice B. (Nee Garbowicz) Of Brookfield, WI, passed away in the early morning hours of Friday, August 27, 2010, at Franciscan Woods Healthcare Center. She was born in Milwaukee, WI on June 6, 1920, a daughter of the late Ludwig and Mary Ann (Plonecki) Garbowicz. She was married to George C. Graczyk and together they raised two children. Alice was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed people, parties and many social activities. In earlier years, Alice enjoyed golfing, bowling, shuffle board and fishing with her husband. She was also a longtime member of the Gross-Yaksh VFW Auxillary. Alice is survived by her children: Glen Graczyk of Winter Garden, FL and Christine (Mark) Booth of Waukesha. She will also be remembered by her grandchildren: Colin and Katelyn Booth, a sister-in-law Agnes Mueller of West Bend, WI, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband George as well as her brothers and sisters and nieces and nephews. The visitation for Alice will be held on Monday, August 30, 2010, from 4 PM until the time of the 6 PM funeral mass at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 1755 N. Calhoun Road, in Brookfield. Memorials are appreciated to the family or to a charity of one's choice. Entombment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, 7301 W. Nash Street, Milwaukee on Tuesday, August 31, 2010, at 11 AM.
