Allan Bliemeister Obituary

Allan Bliemeister

And now these three remain; faith, hope, and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Allan Bliemeister expressed exponential love through his roles on earth as a husband, father, brother, friend, leader, teacher, an anchor of truth, and a man of God. A light in the darkness, a beacon of righteousness, with an eye for mechanics.

Allan earned his bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering and went onto work for many decades in the engineering field. Allan dedicated his time to furthering his community by coaching youth soccer, serving as the vice president of the Fond du Lac soccer association, and teaching Sunday school for many years.

Still on earth is Allan's high school sweetheart of 45 years Dianna Bliemeister, his daughter Marie Hurtis and husband Blake Hurtis, his brother Robert Bliemeister and family, his sister Linda Abel and family, his sister Janet Lipscomb and family, his brother Richard Bliemeister, his step-sister Kathy Kirkendoll and family, his cousin Greg Hepner and family, his sister-in-law Debra Jensen, his brother-in-law Mark Schneider as well as countless other family members, friends, and loved ones.

Private services will be held.

Allan's wish is that contributions may be made to World Vision. Donations can be made at https://mycause.worldvision.org/campaign/Allan-Bliemeister-World-Vision-Fund-.

I didn’t know Allan as well as his wife, whom I worked with years ago, but he was always pleasant and kind to me when I did see him somewhere, mostly at my workplace. I just want to offer my prayers and condolences to Dianna and Marie especially at this sad time, as well as to the rest of his family and friends. May God give them strength to get through this difficult time.

Allan was a wonderful person - kind, caring, and gentle, always interested in others. I will forever be grateful to him for patiently working with 29 year old me for weeks to help me conquer my phobia of water, teaching me how swim, including putting my head under water. Allan also had a great sense of humor - he was goofy, imaginative, and fun. I deeply admired the great love and respect he exhibited for nature in all its forms. This naturally lead to an interest in travel and general adventuring, interests that we both shared. I will tenderly hold on to memories of us wilderness camping for the first time in 1975, joyful times at the cottage and sledding when our kids were little, annual “boating “ dates with the family as the kids got older, and many stimulating political discussions in our later years. Allan, you were a gem... gone far too soon. You will be sorely missed. Rest In Peace dear brother.
Dianna, Marie, and Blake, I’m so deeply sorry for your loss.
