CONDOLENCES TO GLORIA WITH RESPECT TO THE PASSING OF ALLAN.

GROWING UP IN MILWAUKEE, AND BEING OF A SIMILAR AGE GROUP, AND ACTIVE AT THE OLD JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER AT 1400 N. PROSPECT, WE ALL ATTENDED THE DANCES OF THE YOUNG ADULT GROUP, THEN LEAD BY PAUL CHASE, WHO PASSED AWAY ABOUT 10 YEARS AGO.

MY HAVING BEEN EMPLOYED BY CHANNEL 6 AND THEN BECOMING A MILWAUKEE POLICE OFFICER INVESTIGATOR FOR OVER 18 YEARS, UNTIL I VISITED LOS ANGELES IN 1978, AND FOUND IT'S WEATHER TO BE MORE FAVORABLE THAN MILWAUKEE, MOVED TO LOS ANGELES IN 1980 AND RETURNED TO MY BROADCASTING CAREER.

ALLAN WAS QUITE A CHARACTER, AND ONLY NOW BEING APPRISED HE WAS INVOLVED WITH A CLOWN UNIT, SUBSTANTIATES THAT ENDEAVOR.

PROUD FORMER MILWAUKEE POLICE OFFICER INVESTIGATOR, 1962-1980.

RETIRED BROADCAST ENGINEER, THE CBS TELEVISION NETWORK, WEST COAST HEADQUARTERS, TELEVISION CITY / HOLLYWOOD, 1982-2005

STILL PERFORMING / SINGING, THE MUSIC OF SINATRA, TONY BENNETT & NAT "KING" COLE, BUT IN LAS VEGAS, WHERE I RETIRED.

My condolences to my cousin Allan's family on their loss. I smiled when I read he was active in the clown unit of Shriners Hospitals for Children; it reflects the spirit and wit of Uncle Max and his three-carrot ring.
