We never knew what had become of Fr. Sommer. He was a priest at St. Louis parish when I was a child. He married at least one of my sisters and baotizedcmy baby sister. If we had known where he was, we would have visited him. Rest in peace and prayers for you, Father Sommer.

To Father Als family- Please accept my belated sympathies for your loss. I met Fr. Al when he became the pastor of St. Bernadette Parish and we served on the parish council together. What a lovely man- kind, caring, generous. We were blessed to have his services as our pastor.

I remember Fr. Allan from my early days as a newly ordained priest at St. Edward's in Racine. A great priest. I remember two things specifically . Fr. Allan liked to collect old hearses and ambulances. He also organized a karate club when he was at St.Louis,Caledonia. May he rest in peace.

To the Family of Father Al: I was a Mass reader at St. Marys
in Port Washington for many of Fr. Als Masses. I always
enjoyed his homilies as well as our conversations in the
Sacristy before Mass. H had such a great sense of quiet humor. He has reached the Promised Land! Sincere
sympathy; Orv & MaryDonna Frohxx
