Amy Quinlan Obituary

Amy Quinlan

Amy Quinlan born October 29, 1967 after battling with breast cancer for several years, passed away on October 31, 2020. She left behind two sons Connor Quinlan, and Nik Nelson, Daughter of Mary and Erv Panfil. She came into this world alone being placed up for adoption at birth, but she passed surrounded by family and friends. Amy proved that life isn't determined by what is given to you, but what you do with it. Life for her was focused on the connections she made with people, known for her generosity and dropping everything when someone needed her. She truly was a devout and loving mother, and will not be forgotten. Due to COVID-19 restrictions the celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Our friendship is so difficult to describe. Where did we go during the years? So many places. I miss her very much. She was "my biggest fan." She supported Milwaukee musicians and clubs. That's how we met over twenty years ago. We were much like a brother and sister. If you were her friend, you really knew it.

Love you, Amy. You are in heaven I know, but I normally would be meeting up with you this week somewhere. But......no.....and that makes me sad!

Amy (Amster) was one of my dearest friends for over 30 years! She loved spending time at my pool; or as she called it "The Spa"! Amy thoroughly enjoyed spending Christmas Eve with my entire family and we're all going to miss her immensely. I'm glad we got to spend a couple days together in early October for one last "fiesta" prior to her leaving us. She gifted me her tambourine and maracas and said she wanted me to "rock out" poolside in her honor! We will have a "Amster" party next summer with her instruments! I will always love Amy and miss her!
We will sit poolside again one day in heaven honey!
Love, Julie Brown (or as Amy would say - Jules)!

Amy was the most energetic and wildly entertaining person I have ever met. I can't believe that we won't be spending next St. Paddy's day together or chilling by the fire on the patio. I love you and miss you! Until we meet again, in the afterlife, cheers babe! Have a margarita by the pool for me.
