Andrew Norman Smith

Andrew Smith passed away on May 16th, 2021. Andrew was born on July 5th, 1984 at Columbia St. Mary's Hospital in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Andrew was the loving son of Kathleen and David Smith of Mequon, Wisconsin.

Growing up, Andrew had an uncanny ability to sense when and how to provide support and guidance to his younger brother Michael. He had great love and respect for his older brother David and sister-in-law, Lauren. He loved spending time with his nieces, Olivia and Elle, as their creative backyard wilderness tour guide and shockingly sturdy human jungle gym. Andrew loved his extended family and will be missed by aunts, uncles and cousins.

Andrew's quick wit, curiosity and focus enabled him to excel academically and professionally. He graduated with honors from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities and Northwestern University. He worked as a healthcare consultant deploying 20 statewide health administration systems across the US.

Andrew consistently motivated the ones he loved to never give up or settle for anything less than what they deserved. His sense of humor, optimism in the face of adversity and never ending compassion for others will live on in our hearts forever.

The immediate family celebrated Andrew's life at a Catholic Mass of Christian Burial. Andrew valued the positive impact of education. Donations in his memory can be made to Cristo Rey Jesuit High School - Milwaukee.
