Mom it's almost 1 year now and it just does not seem real that you are not coming back. We went to Kim's baby shower and it just was not the same without you there. We know how much fun you had going to wedding showers, baby showers and most of all the stagett parties. It's like you are on a vacation and will be coming home soon. Everybody thinks of you every day and we miss you so so much. Mom give all of us extra strength around all the holidays and special days you know that we will be missing you even more. Give dad the most strength for the days ahead. The world is not same here without you. God Bless you, we all love you.
With Love from your entire family

Hi Mom, Just wanted to say what do you think of our new puppy. Her name is Harley, she is so irresistible that even dad tries to stay away but can't. You know how us women just gets to a man's heart. Are you having fun with fluffy, sassy cat, whisky and the birds. I just wanted to write you a letter one last time before this book is off the internet and we print out a hard copy of written memories for dad and the family. I think of you every day and miss you.
Love your daughter Paula

Anna,
I will always remember your unconditional love for your family.
The joy you always showed at the Christmas fair at St. Joseph's when you manned the hanky booth and I would pick a winning hanky between masses.
I will remember the midnight carriage ride with you, John, Ann and I through Downtown Milwaukee on New Year’s Eve.
I will remember you every day in my heart and my prayers.
Please watch over us from heaven and if we need a nudge, please give us a good one to remember what life is about.
I love and miss you.
Your Son In-Law,
Ken

Our Mother Our Angel'
We look back on memories we forgot we had,
And at times we will smile even though it hurts so bad,
Our mother is a special woman and no one can take her place,
We will find a piece of mind when we remember her smiling face.
Our mother is an angel now she flies high above the rest,
and in our hearts always and forever she will be the best.
She has earned her wings and it's time for her to fly,
I know it hurts no one is ever ready to say good-bye.
She knows we do not understand and that we cry at night,
But as we finally drift off to sleep let her memory hold us tight.
She will be our guardian angel through the rest of our life,
Helping lead us on the path between what’s wrong and right.
Our mother loves us so very much and her love will always remain true,
Please don't ever think for a second that our mother will forget us.
A mothers love is like no other in the whole world,
She has the most wonderful memories of a little boy and girl.
She has taken them with her as she's flown away,
Up to Heaven free of pain which is her new home to stay.
So although we can not see her and we wish she could be here,
Our mother can always hear us and our mother will always care.
A mother does not forget the two greatest loves of her life,
And she loved nothing more than being Our mother, and our father's wife.
She is so proud of her family and that's in her heart to stay,
Even though she's and angel and has had to fly away.
So as we cry our tears remember our mothers love,
Being sent to us from her, from the beautiful Heaven above,
She will be there through our good times; she will be there through our bad,
She'll be there when we are happy, she'll be there when we are sad.
Our mother has become and angel now, it is her time to fly.
Love Always and Forever,
Your Loving Son James

Grandma,
I wish you here, and we were frosting Christmas cookies together.
I remember all the times you and I and grandpa would sit at the kitchen table and play skip-bo and eat sour cream and onion potato chips.
I remember all the pepsi you would let me drink, and all the times my mom said i could not have it.
I remember all the meals i ate at your house, and how we would always, always, always have to eat right at 5 oclock.
I remember all your AVON and all the nail polish and jewlery you would give us.
I remember the times when you and I would stay up late all night playing computer games, and how you would always call me a "fart" when i would beat your high scores.
You never know how strong you are, until being strong is the only choice you have...i believe you truly made each moment of your life special, especially the past five years, as you battled through all the hospital visits and nursing homes.
You taught me to never give up, and to live my life not caring what people think of me.
I will never forget when we would watch the Price Is Right together and after that, your Soaps. I will miss watching Wheel of Fortune with you, and playing legos on the living room floor.
Christmas will not be the same without you this year, but we are still a family, and i know you are in heaven watching over us and building us a house full of pepsi.
I've learned that God does not give us everything we ask for, but i know he has a plan. I think of you everyday and wish we were together. I hope someday you and I will meet once more when my time comes, at the gates of heaven.
I love you and miss you.
Your granddaughter,
Zoe

Grandma I will never forget you and all of your computer games. I will never forget all of the Avon gifts, christmas gifts, and birthday gifts you gave me. Grandma you are always in my heart.

Mom,
Thank you for always being there for me. When life got tough, you taught me how to be myself and not worry about what others thought about me.
You taught me that kindness, humor and love were the ways to a happier life.
You taught me that I should follow my dream and thanks to you I have.
Thank you for all the love you had in your heart for Zoe, Miranda, Ken and I. For your love is what inspires us to be happy.
Thank you for always telling Ken and I to stop it whenever we hugged and kissed, we both know it made your day to see us happy.
Most of all thank you for loving us unconditionally.
Though you are gone, your love continues to touch our hearts every day.
I know you are here watching over us and caring for us. I know that I will see you in heaven and until that time I will keep your memory alive and in my heart and the hearts of my family.
God Bless you Mom. When my time comes, please meet me at the gates of heaven.
I love and miss you every minute of my life.
Your Baby Girl,
Ann

Mom,
Thanks for fifty one years of memories that are too numerous to list.
Thanks for your support and encouragement.
Thanks for your good taste.
Thanks for your “sassy” sense of humor.
Thanks for everything you taught me especially all the crafts.
You already know that I am putting your knitting needles to good use.
Mom, I miss you but I know I will see you soon.
Love,
Rita

In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Grandma, we had so many good memories that I will never forget. I will always remember you and you will be in my thoughts and prayers all the time. Remember all those bowling games me, you, grandpa, and Trevor had? Because I do and I will never forget the time I spent with you. Also, you made the oatmeal and all your meals so perfect every time. You taught me how to experiment (Lego’s), have fun (playing cards), get smart (when you would help me with my homework), and to never give up (when you fought for the past five years of your life). I love you so much, I will never forget you, and I can’t wait until we meet again in heaven.
I love you,
Your Granddaughter,
Chelsey

Mom I will miss you everyday of my life. I love you so much. It hurt me to see you hurting day after day and knowing I did not a miracle drug to get you better so you could come home. You are the biggest fighter and for that we all learned not to give up. Thank you for watching Trevor and Chelsey and teaching them good quality's in life and loving them. I am so thankful that they were able to enjoy life with you. Thank you for teaching us how to love, laugh, share, forgive and fight for what we believe. Because of you and dad all of us will continue to be better people and follow in your foot steps. I will always try not to cry because you told me in your last few hours please don't cry Paula. But when I cry it's because I am missing you so much it hurts. I know you will still take care of us from heaven. Mom be free and relaxed now you have no pain and worries God is at your side. I will see you in heaven. Mom please comfort dad he misses you so much. Dad wanted you home so bad and did not want you living anywhere but in your home with him that you picked out in Muskego. As you know all of us will continue to take care of dad the same way we took care of you. I LOVE YOU AND WILL MISS YOU.
Love your daughter

Dear John and family,
Anna was a loved and vibrant part of your family until she just couldn't keep going anymore. She will be missed as a lovely lady with a quick wit and smile for all. She was a very proud grandmother and an exceptional mother and the best Avon lady anyone could ask to meet. God blessed her with a full life and now He has called her to be an angel. She was a beautiful neighbor who will always be remembered with great fondness.
