Although this is late (because I just learned of his death), I want to offer my sincerest condolences to his family, loved ones and staff. Dr. Agarwal was actually not only my pediatrician but also my children's and nieces and nephew's pediatrician. We had great confidence in his practice. May his soul rest in peace.

My condolences to Dr. Agarwal's family. Dr. Agarwal cared for deeply for the children of Milwaukee. He never turned anyone away. It was my privilege to work with him at St. Joseph Hospital.

My sincere sympathy to Dr. Agarwal's family. I am very sorry to hear of his passing. I first met him when I started to work at Children's Hospital. I had just come from being a volunteer nurse in St. Lucia, where I met an MD from Toronto who learned I was from Milwaukee and told me that his friend Avadh Agarwal was in Milwaukee. The first time I encountered Dr. Agarwal at Children's I introduced myself to him and told him of meeting his friend. This was in 1978, from that point on Dr. Agarwal always made a point to ask me how I was, to congratulate me on the birth of my children, etc. He talked with such pride about his family. When I moved to Madison and began working in the Nurse Practitioner at UW, Dr. Agarwal was kind enough to work with a couple of my students. I was surprised a few years ago to run into him in the Health Sciences Learning Center at UW where he had come for a meeting, and we had a nice conversation catching up on each other's family. If I could think of one word to describe him it would be "kind." My sympathy at your loss.

Bipin and Wendy, My sincere sympathy on the passing of your brother, Avadh. I think of you often since I moved back to Wisconsin. As an aside, I currently reside in the same senior complex as Mary Worley. Life makes so many twists and turns. Again, my condolences. Sue Halvorsen

Dr. Agarwal will be greatly missed. He taught me to never use "you're gonna get a shot" as a negative thing. My prayers are with the family. God Bless.
