Whitefish Bay - (Nee Schierl), of Whitefish Bay, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 16, 2021, at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife for over 60 years of the late Richard Frank Mamayek. Preceded in death by sister Eileen (the late Charles) Aucutt. Dear mother of Mike (Bev), Susan (the late Rich) Fabian, Ron (Joni), and Bob (Jean). Dear friend of Darlene and Phil. Special and warm thanks to Barb's caregivers for the love they showed her, Melinda and Satika. Proud grandmother of 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Further survived by other relatives and friends. All are welcome in the celebration of her life on Monday, February 22nd, at St. Monica Catholic Church (5601 North Santa Monica Blvd, Whitefish Bay, WI 53217) from 10:00 AM to the time of the celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 AM. Entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery will be private.

Barbara was a graduate of Rufus King High School and Prospect Hall Secretarial School.

She received the prestigious 5,500 Hour Award Pin for her volunteer work at St. Michael's Hospital. She was a member of St. Monica's Parish for 72 years and worked with her husband on numerous church organizations especially boy scouting.

Due to COVID-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing will be required. In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Monica Church requested by the family.
