In the early 60's, we lived on the same block. Gary was one of my Best Buddy's back then.
My fondness memories of Barbara was that she played a 45 record - most-likely "Elvis" over and over - literally until the needle cut-through to the other side.
She would send me to the corner store with a 8 pack of empties and pickup another 8-pack of her beloved Coke-a-Cola, which I happily handed to her through the front porch window.
At age 11/12 she possibly was the first south-side Gal, I worship and adored. G.B.N.F. Rest in Peace! TEE
