Bernie was a great man, very thoughtful person and always wanted to sincerely know how you were doing. I knew Uncle Bernie my whole life and never heard anyone say anything but good about him. He was just a rare breed of a man, and the world would be a better place if there were more like him.
My thoughts and prayers are with the whole Heinrich family.
I'll miss you Uncle Bernie, take care and we will see you in Heaven.

Dear Ellie,Debbie,Donna,Ricky, Patty, and David,

I would like to extend my deepest sympathy in this time of grief. I have so many wonderful memories of Mr. Heinrich and the family from the days on Prancer Street.I remember Mr. Heinrich as being kind, friendly , intelligent , tall ( a child's viewpoint) and a fantastic problem solver. I recall a trip to Michoud to visit the Saturn 5 assembly plant and we were locked out of the car. Mr. Heinrich borrowed some keys and got in without difficulty. Another memory includes returning from Waveland after Camille and the truck we were in broke down as we were approaching the Mississippi river bridge. Mr. Heinrich jumped out, popped the hood, did some maneuver and away we went.

This time of loss is very difficult for everyone. Please take solace in God's love and Christ's sacrifice for our sins. I know Mr. Heinrich is in Heaven. My wife Alice and kids Robert,Miles, Arden, and Nelson send their love as well as I do.

Dear Ellie, Debbie, Donna, Rick, Patty, David et all

You may never realize the wonderful impact your family has had on my life as well as the entire Fortenberry family. You are woven into the fabric of my memories, fond memories, which I'm greatful to God to have experienced. My heart is truly broken, it is difficult to image what you are feeling. Leslie and I have consoled each other with hours of reminiscing. It was so wonderful to see you all on Tuesday.
I hope we can gather again and maintain a connection. I pray for your comfort and peace through Christ our Savior. His resurrection is also our victory over death. Christ has prepared a place for us in our Father's house. I'm confident your dear husband/father is there. It is our great hope as Christians to be reunited with loved ones and the Lord, for our eternal reward. God Bless you all! Peace be with you.

Please know that I am keeping you and your family in my prayers and ask that God will give you strength, comfort and peace at this time. I love you so much, and will miss him too.
