Tofte Family,

Words cannot express the sorrow I feel for your family. Brian was a great friend. His whit, laughter and kind heart will be missed. The times we shared will always be with me. I pray for a merciful God that looks past our actions and into our hearts. I wish you peaceful thoughts of your Father, Son, Brother and Companion and though Brian is no longer in our sight, he will forever be in our thoughts and in our Hearts.

With Sympathy,

Andy Matt

Brian’s passing is a deeply sad moment for all who knew him. Brian had many gifts, one of which was his sharing of laughter with others.
Memories are all we can take with us at moments such as these, and my memories of Brian will always be of laughter and his delight in handing over golf tees to me for being such a bad golfer. Brian made me laugh whenever he laughed.

Proverbs 14:13: Even in laughter the heart may ache, and joy may end in grief.

With time, the grief we all share will turn to laughter again.

Vern and Dorthy Tofte,

Marianne, Patti & Natalie,
Our thoughts are with you. Both of us and our girls have good memories of your Dad. Emily remembers, "being thrown gently up in the air and laughing with "Uncle Brian". We smile when we think of Labor Day camping trips, family gatherings and golfing with "the guys". Brian was the family Trivial Pursuit, "Spots Question Guru", and could play a mean hand of Sheepshead. He wasn't a natural born Handyman, but was always there to help with the Lenz's family projects. Sometimes as the acting "Referee". (The playset still stands) But the most memorable thing about Brian, was how much he loved His Girls. There was no prouder father when he gave his girls away on their wedding days. We will remember him fondly and hope that your memories bring love and laughter to your hearts that will stay with you forever and make this difficult time easier. We Love You!

Tofte family,
I have a lot of fond memories of Brian as he has been up North (Norway)to play softball with my brother Rick. We have had a lot of great times when we have come to Milwaukee and always had to see Brian as well. I will never forget him and have a great picture of us together to remember all the good times. My prayers go out to you at such a difficult time.

Natalie and Patti most words cannot express the deep felt pain we all have at the loss of your Dad and our close friend Brian. We all have sad hearts and will miss him greatly. The many memories of years past doing the various things we all did as only close friends can do. The softball games, tournaments and championship teams we played on. Whether it was making the big play or chuckles we all shared when we failed with a strike out or error. The 9 or 18 holes of golf we played with him over the years, laughing about missed putts and errant shots. The fishing and hunting trips and stories we shared. The Packer parties and the car shows. Working with and taking breaks with him over the years at the General. The ribbing we gave each other can only be described as the love and admiration we all shared with each other. Many others and myself thought of Brian as more than a friend and brother, he will be greatly missed by us all and me, but the many, many memories of him will last forever!
