Bruce L. Baier

Baier, Bruce L. Of New Berlin, WI, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 12, 2018, at the age of 85 years. Preceded in death by his parents Herman and Loretta Baier, dear brother Dean N. Baier (Penny Hilton), devoted husband to L. Jean "Jeanne" Baier (nee Jurgensen) of Marshfield until her death in 1995 and Barbara "Barb" Baier of Milwaukee until her death in 2017. Bruce did not have children of his own. He would say "good thing my brother had kids." Bruce was survived by his nieces and nephews: Claude (Darcy) Baier, Jeanne Baier, Jeffery Baier, Beth "Betsy" Block, Mary Baier and Richie Baier. Further survived by great nieces, great nephews, other relatives and friends. Bruce served honorably as a Corporal in the U.S. Army from 1953-1954. He worked in the food brokerage industry until retirement. He was a proprietor of Club 11 in Milwaukee, WI. He graduated from Rufus King High School in Milwaukee in 1950 and was a DeMolay Master Councilor. Bruce was a resident of Brown Deer, WI for over 50 years. He was a longtime member of the Brown Deer Lions Club. He enjoyed bowling and was a casual golfer. Bruce always said "Have fun - Do It Now!" He was always wanting to make people laugh.
