Dear Sue, I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to meet you and to have our paths ultimetly cross, however I am so sorry and deeply saddened by your loss, I certainly wish there was something I could have done to make your journey more bearable! As we know God works in mysterious ways and as I have personally experienced I found not to question why, but instead try to accept and believe in the road He has chosen for us! I know there is nothing I or anyone can say or do at this time to ease your pain, but please believe me when I say you and yours have been in my thoughts and prayers everyday, please hold on to the premise that God will not let you down, He will care for you and your family just as He is caring for His newest cherished Angel, your loving husband Bruce! May God Bless you and your Family, with my deepest Sympathy, your friend Becky Wolf

I was so sorry to hear about Bruce. I remember when you both watched Mindy when she was an infant. You were good neighbors. My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

Sue,
How saddened I was to read about Bruce in today's Herald-Review. The memories have flooded my mind and how thankful I am that our paths crossed while you were in Decatur. I remember the early mornings when we'd drop off Mindy for you to watch while Marcia took me to work. And the many times we ate together, partied together, and just had a good old time being together. My prayers go out to you and your family during this time but I know that God has a great journalist in His presence just waiting for us to join him some day. May our God fill you with His peace and comfort today and in the days to come. Your friend, Paul Juriga

Dear Sue, Jennifer and Amy--We are deeply saddened to learn of Bruce's death and want you to know our thoughts and prayers are very much with you. As Sue might remember, Bruce was my first editor at The Northern Star and I've always remembered some of his "Brucisms." I loved the quote in the newspaper obituary--"Begin at once and do the best you can"--and now have it hanging over my desk. May the dark days that follow gradually brighten as you realize how blessed you were to have Bruce as a husband and father, even though for too brief of a time. Much love--

I can tell that you loved your dad very much and I have been touched by the wonderful articles that have been written about him. Know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.
