Schroeder, Burnell P. (Nee DeGelleke) age 86, of Slinger, passed away on Sunday, January 1, 2017 at her residence. Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elroy W. Schroeder and daughter, Linda Pride. Dear mother of Ronald (Michelle) Schroeder, Michael (Nancy) Schroeder, Sandra (Peter) Manning, and Cheryl Barr; mother-in-law of Jeffrey Pride; loving grandmother of Richard and Andrew Schroeder, Kelly (Aaron) Sics, Kristin (Sean) Maki, Jason (Stephanie) Schroeder, Lisa (Phillip) Cushin, Stephanie (Alexander) Minster, Emily (Matthew) Hughes, Samuel (Samantha) Manning, Elijah (Beth) Manning, Alisha (Joshua) Herring, Chad (Jodie) Smith and Shawn (Darcy) Smith; great-grandmother of, Lana, Nolan, Raymond, Carlos, Jordan, Adam, Felicia, Morgan, Cole, Leah, Annabelle, Maxwell, Isabelle, Avery, Jaylen, Aubrey, Josiah, Jacob and Lucas; further survived by many other relatives and friends. Burnell was a school crossing guard in Milwaukee for many years and loved to quilt. She made many beautiful quilts for her family and charities. The Funeral Service will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 at 6:00 PM at St. Paul's Lutheran Church (799 St. Paul Drive, Slinger) with Pastor Robert Fleischmann presiding. The Visitation will be held at the church on Friday, January 6th from 3:00 PM until the time of service at 6:00 PM. Interment will take place at Washington County Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorials to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, American Cancer Society (PO Box 9002, Pewaukee, WI 53072), or the National Kidney Foundation (10909 W Greenfield Ave #201, West Allis, WI 53214) would be appreciated.
