O'Brien, Carol Ann (Nee Schroeder) On Tuesday, June 19, 2018 Carol passed away peacefully having succumbed to Alzheimer's disease at the age of 73 years. Carol was born in Milwaukee, WI. She was quite the athlete in her youth, an avid tennis player and fisherwoman. Carol loved the outdoors and taking walks in Petrifying Springs Park with her significant other and best friend Dave Muhar who was by her side until the end. She is survived by her only child Tamara (Jim), Sister Jean, grandchildren Aja (Matt), Kayla and four great-grandchildren. A Celebration of her life will be held at Amelia's 724 E. Layton Ave. Milwaukee on Thursday 6/28 from 5PM - 8PM.

As a neighbor and a classmate, I remember Carol's radiant smile. We lived across the street from Washington Park, and we enjoyed baseball, tennis skating and many other childhood games. Carol
served as bridemaidsmaide in our wedding. I would like to extend my deepest condolences to her sister Jean and her family.
