Father of Carol Jean (Don) Zarns, Linda (Dave) Eichhorst, Diane (Ron) Potter, Geryl (Fred) Lynn, Ellen (Brad) Brody, Laura Sawdy, Michael (Kathy) , Victor (Kathy), Phillip (Sheleagh), Grace (Joe) Erb, Douglas (Debbie) and Daniel (Michele).Grandfather of Troy, Chad, Shane, Travis and Joshua Zarns, Sarah Hagen, Christopher and the late Jonathan Tesch, Theresa Beans, Andrea Ritter and Amber Brody, Tony and T.J. Kasta, Tom Wilson Kaitlin Sawdy, Amanda and Ashley Sawdy, Ryan, Liam, Megan and Brody Sawdy, Lolita Rindal, Joseph and Joeleen Erb, Rachel Sawdy and Samantha Sawdy. Great-Grandfather of Mitchell and Autumn Zarns, Kaylee and Chloe Tesch, Samara, Devereau and Alyvia Beans, Liliana, A.J., Lucy and Alaina Kasta, Felicity Brody, Colin Sawdy and Andrew Sawdy. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Visitation at Max Sass Funeral Home, Greenridge Chapel, Sunday, December 27, 4-7pm. Funeral service at 7pm. Private burial at Arlington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorials appreciated to Wounded Warrior Project or Disabled American Veterans. Carroll was the past commander and life time member of Greendale American Legion Post 416 and a retired Postal worker.
