Charles Dalkert Obituary
Visitation Wednesday, November 24 at the funeral home from 4pm until time of a Remembrance Service at 6:30pm, a reception will follow. Interment in Waterloo, Illinois. Memorials to The MACC Fund or American Cancer Society appreciated.
Charles was a member of Friendship Force of Milwaukee and two local music unions. He was a Professor of Music for 17 years and a retired computer programming consultant. He played, directed and wrote; jazz, German folk and classical music throughout his professional career.

Knowing Chuck brought joy ! His wonderful sense of humor and musical talent were enjoyed greatly by many in Friendship Force. Chuck's death leaves a vacancy very difficult to fill.

I had the great privilege of knowing Chuck for many years, both as a friend and colleague/musician. We performed many many gigs together!
He was a consumate gentleman and friend!

I truly regret that I met Chuck so late in his life, but we sure enjoyed the time we did have. His spirit lives on in all of us that knew him. I wish we could all hear the music in heaven now that he is there.
