Ruth, Marie, Chuck, Jim and Connie-
My condolences to you for the loss of your dad. I know your folks and mine were good neighbors and friends which led to friendships of the kids. I have lots of fun memories of playing in the orchard, rousing games of kick-the-can and on and on. I like to think that our folks are getting together now and resuming their friendship. My thoughts are with you.

To the Entire Malek Family,
My condolences on the death of your dad. I will never forget the paper hats he made and wore doing his yard work. You were blessed to have him in your lives so long.

Chuck,
Your dad was possessed of many virtues. He was a caring father, a loving husband, and a trusted friend to the countless people that he touched. I will remember his cynical wit, infectious smile and unwavering honesty. He was a genuine man. I have no doubt that he recognized and appreciated the sacrifices you made in caring for him in recent years.
Simply stated, Big Chuck was a wonderful person who loved his family and earned the respect of his friends. As you mourn his passing remember this, "sharing sorrow is half the sorrow... sharing joy is twice the joy." He will long be remembered by everyone he has touched. His journey has now come full circle. May he rest in peace.

My heart-felt condolences to all the members of the Malek family on the loss of your father (and grand/great grand father). I'm sorry I won't be able to extend my sympathies in person. Chuck and Helen and their children were great family friends to us growing up and we had many great times together. Chuck, who always reminded me of Bob Uecker, had a great sense of humor and that distinctive, hearty laugh that was infectious. When Chuck, Frank Baranek and my dad were together, especially on the golf course, you knew you were in for a lot of fun. The joking and ribbing and practical jokes were always part of the mix. His good-natured persona will live on in the hearts of those who knew him best. With sincere sympathy...

Uncle Chuck was one of many uncles I have had in my life yet one of the BEST and I will cherish the fondest of memories I have of him. I pray for the Malek family to find peace in the love he has shared with you. You are truly blessed to have had him in your lives. I shall miss one of the BEST!
