Charlotte Quinn

Quinn, Charlotte (Nee Devine) Age 88, died on 12-31-16 at home in Kansas City, Mo. A former resident of Brookfield and Hartland, Charlotte was born in Boonville, Mo., the daughter of Michael Thomas and Marguerite (Felten) Devine. A 1950 graduate of the University of Missouri, she was living in St. Louis when she met Joe Quinn of Sedalia. They married in 1954 and lived in many communities across the U.S., making good friends wherever they were. Upon Joe's retirement, they moved to Sun City Vistoso-Tucson, where they lived for 22 years. After Joe passed away in 2013, Charlotte remained in Ariz. before moving back to her home state in 2015. Charlotte is preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Quinn, her parents and her older sister, Patricia Kimberley. She will be deeply missed by her children Melissa (Bob Edstrom) of Florence, Ore., Anne Ulseth (Tom) of Minneapolis, Matt (Jane) of Lee's Summit, Mo., Bridget Kadolph (Dave) of Glenview, Ill., Peggy Erickson (Stu) of Edina, Minn., and Will (Laura) of Hartland, Wis.; grandchildren Kate, James, Johanna, Berit, Nora, Mary, Kara, Emma, Will, Lucy, PJ and Mary; her brother Tom (Betty) Devine and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Charlotte's life was held on Jan. 7 in Boonville. Memorials can be made to Common Hope www.commonhope.org or the Missouri Department of Natural Resources.
