Greenfield - Born to Eternal Life April 7, 2021, at the age of 85. Collette was preceded in death by her parents William G. and Theresa (nee Benzing) Gruber. Also preceded in death by her siblings Theresa Altschwager, Charles Gruber and William Gruber. Survived by relatives and friends.

Collette made the national newspapers on June 28, 1935, as the first born of the first set of surviving Cesarean triplets delivered in Milwaukee. She was hired by M&I Bank upon graduation from Wauwatosa High School and retired from there 44 years later. Collette loved to eat out, travel, and chat with friends and family for hours on the phone. Collette's remaining family was entertained by her unique perspective about life. She will long be remembered for expressing her opinions on everything.

Private services were held at St. Mary's Parish, Menomonee Falls, WI. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.

At peace and no longer in pain- Aunt Collette always shouldered her responceability of asuring all of neices and nephews were properly spoiled and loved.Go with God but remember you will be loved by all who knew you forever

I will miss my friend whom I have known for over seventy years. We went through many good and sad times together. My sympathy to your family. Rest safely in God's arms, Collette.
