My Dearest Friend Cory:
I was devastated & shocked when I received the news. I spoke with Kris for awhile, we cried and laughed a little at the funny things we did over the years. You and I have shared some very precious memories. You and I grew up in a small town and have known each other since junior high. We were college roomates and long lasting friends in Milwaukee. We had some great experiences and shared time together over the years. You were a very compassionate and dedicated person to those around you and your work. I will deeply miss you and treasure our memories. God bless you and goodbye my friend, I love you and some day we will all be together again. Love Sally

I worked for Cory at Q&B quite some time ago. She was very pleasant to work for and also a good friend. I loved listening to her talk so lovingly about her family. Though I did not keep in touch with her, I'll always have fond memories of our paths crossing in this life.

To Cory's family and friends:
I worked with Cory at Snap-on for several years. She trained me when I took over the product liability cases. Cory always had a smile, was friendly and easy to talk to. Sometimes God takes his angels when they are too young. My prayers are with you and all who love Cory.

Cory, know that you will be greatly missed at Q & B, especially the 30th floor home buying club. I will miss asking about and hearing about the wellness of Shooska. :) You are truly a beautiful, classy lady. Rest well now, you angel.

My sympathy to Kris and family and all our family at Q&B. I worked at Q&B for 27 years as a legal secretary. During that time, I remember Cory starting in the File Room and, after a lot of work, becoming a paralegal. She was a hard worker, and I had a lot of respect for her. As friends, we also enjoyed fun times together. Memories are consoling. God bless you, Cory.

Cory:
You were young enough to be my daughter (I have 4 daughters and 4 granddaughters: I really like girls!)
You were a shining star of a girl, always cheerful, always ready to help anyone that you knew.
From what I know of you, you were a "together" person who loved other people and your job and spent all fo your effort and energy on them.
I am truly blessed to have met and worked with you.
Along with your friends and co-workers I don't know how we are going to get along without you.
With Sadness:

Kris,
Although we did not know Cory very well. We did enjoy her company at the Red Hat Events she attended. Remember all your "Red Hat Sisters" will be there for you. You and your family will be in our prayers.

I worked at Quarles & Brady for 12 years, and about half of that time was spent on the 30th floor working with Cory’s secretary and at times with Cory. God brings the good ones Home to Heaven so they can spread their goodness elsewhere for Him. I know Heaven is a brighter place with Cory’s arrival, but to those of us who knew her, our lives have dimmed a bit with the loss of Cory’s kindness, wit and wisdom. My deepest sympathy to Cory’s family, and to her Q&B family.

Cory: I am going to miss you everyday. You have always been there for me like a big sister. So many times I would think I could not handle something or be strong enough to get through a situation but you always were there for me to give me that boost of confidence that I needed. I am going to miss the crafts fairs we would attend, eating cheese pizza at Matteo's and talking up a storm over dinner and trying to decide if we really needed a dessert! My Dad thought so much of you Cory. I will never forget all the wonderful things you did for me during that difficult time. Every time I turned around there you were beside me. It was because of your ambition to become a paralegal that opened up the doors for me at Quarles & Brady. How quickly life can change. Your parents worshiped you and Kris and now you are with your Mom & Dad listening to your Dad's golf stories and listening to opera music with your Mom. Watch over me friend and give my Dad a hug. I love you Cory, Nancy

Cory,
I feel so fortunate to have had you as a boss, a mentor and a friend. I'll miss your humor, insight and advice. And, of course, our chats. In remembering you, a line from the movie Fried Green Tomatoes comes to mind: "There are angels on this planet masquerading as people." You were one of those.

That Janie sure is a smart cookie. You were a wonderful friend and I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being there when I needed you. I will always cherish our little chats and your great words of wisdom. I just wish we could have had more time.

Kris,
My deepest sympathy to you and your family on your lose. Although I didn't know Cory well, the time we spent at Red Hat events when Cory joined us was fun. I know she'll be missed but as long as you keep her close to your heart, she'll always be with you. God bless you Kris.

Cory touched many people including quite a few of us all the way down here in Alabama. I had the great pleasure of working with Cory on a trial in Alabama. She obviously left a lasting impression and I have been fortunate enough to stay in touch with her for the past year or so. Cory was highly respected as a Paralegal and as a person. She was smart, charming, witty and we enjoyed sharing stories about our work and or course our dogs!! She will be greatly missed. My sincerest sympathy to her family and her co-workers.

Cory,
Although we never met, I've considered you a great friend for nearly 10 years. Working with you long distance and getting to know you during that time has been a blessing in my life. We used to always joke that I should come to Milwaukee with Victor the next time he flew out to see Mike. Well Sweetheart, when the time comes, you'll be one of the first angels I seek out.

I was so sorry to hear about Cory's passing. I worked for her 10 years ago at Quarles & Brady and enjoyed every minute of it. I considered her a very good friend and will miss her.

Dear Cor - I might have been the secretary who didn't like to do your typing or filing, but I followed your directions - and it worked Wednesday morning. Janie said last night she thinks all the bad, nasty, mean people stay on earth because God is giving them extra chances to be good before going to heaven. He takes the good people early because they're ready. He took the BEST when he took you. I hope you're chattin' over coffee with a lot of great people up in heaven. Say HI to Rob Pluta and Mr. Ryan. Julie
