Darlene was the best friend I ever had. She was my mentor and my hero. The best 21 years of my life were the years I spent close to her. Her reassurance gave me self confidence and self worth. My children adored her, and my husband, Walter, was very fond of her. Darlene had a heart of gold! I will always love you and miss you...Dar.

To Dar's sister and brothers, I send my condolences, to Dar's "girls" my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. You all are the reason she was such a wonderful boss. She will be remembered by me as such a dedicated, caring and very respected business woman and I, with pleasure, had the opportunity to work for Dar. Keep making her proud. Love, Sue Jones
