Easily one of my favorite teachers! His passion for science showed and he sparked an interest in so many of his students. The impossible seemed possible with his guidance and even less favorable topics wasnt so bad in his class. So many lessons and memories I keep with me today.

I had the honor of being a student in several of Mr. Ecoff's classes at Whitnall High School, as well as being a lab assistant for the Whitnall science department under his supervision. I also enjoyed numerous Science Seminar adventures in his school club. Mr. Ecoff was a man of the best character and highest integrity. He was dedicated, and he loved the subject matter he taught. He instilled that dedication and respect for science and nature in his students, and was a wonderful man and role model. My deepest sympathy to his family and friends.

Mr. Ecoff was an excellent teacher and a terrifically kind and thoughtful person. I had him as a teacher for 3 classes Freshman and Senior year, and I was a lab assistant for him. He was the best at Whitnall and will be missed.

I had Mr. Ecoff for Sophomore biology in 1975-76. He was one of my most memorable teachers because of the care he put into his classroom. I remember my class having a hard time understanding a chapter and instead of continuing on with us all having bad grades, he retaught the chapter and we all passed with above average grades. This was the kind of person he was. My sympathies to his family. RIP Mr Ecoff. Lori D.
