Deborah Lynn Close

Close, Deborah Lynn Age 53, of Waukesha. Beloved mother, wife and sister, passed away with courage and grace on May 13, 2009, with her family at her side. Deb was born on May 12, 1956, the daughter of Jim and Barbara David. She was followed six years later by her sister Eva Marie, with whom she shared a special bond with throughout their lives. She married Ron Close in July 1979, and they were blessed with a daughter, Amy. They were a small family and enjoyed their lives together. Deb was a devoted employee of McDonald's Corporation for 29 years. Having worked at the original store on Grandview Ave. and later at the Silvernail store. She loved her work family and was admired and respected by countless co-workers and customers who shared their lives with Deb. Deb will be deeply missed by her husband Ron; daughter Amy; sister and brother-in-law Eva and Mark Ploor; mother and father-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, many cousins, aunts, uncles, and so many special friends, especially her faithful K9 friends Dusty, Curly and Angel. She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Marie, and her special grandmother, "Toots". Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 19, from 9:00-12:00 PM at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 W. Bluemound Rd., Waukesha. Services will begin at 12 noon. Burial will follow at Highland Memorial Park. A special thanks to all the people at Waukesha Memorial Hospital who gentle cared for Deb, especially Dr. David Schmidt.
