Ariel,
I worked with your mom downtown many years ago. It was always a pleasant break from the day stepping into Ivette's office to chat. She was such a warm person. Your mom's face lit up the room when she talked about you (Ari, I believe she called you); I could tell she loved you so very much. I am sorry to hear of her passing and you have my deepest sympathy.

We will all miss Ivette. I remember sitting in the rain at State fair park listening to the Nevel brothers concert. She said the rain didn't stop the show so why should we leave. We had a ball. She would call and say she wanted to go shopping. She knew I was not a shopper, so they would go to a couple of stores and then most likely end up at Botanos. Again, nothing but fun. Ivette had a huge heart and adored her family. May she rest in eternal peace. Bon Voyage.
