He and Dorothy have 24 grandchildren carrying on the family name, Heather, Lisa, Dale Jr, John, Matthew, Stephanie, Kenny, Katie, Krista, Jessica, Ryan, Joe, Brad, Amanda, Jacqui, Ashlee, Breanne, Andrew, Abbie, Zach, Ava, Erich, Kyle, Jeffrey, as well as 12 great-grandchildren and preceded in death by grandson "angel" Stephen. Visitation Tuesday, September 5 at the HARDER FUNERAL HOME from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, September 6 at 11:00 AM at ST. DOMINIC CATHOLIC CHURCH, 18255 W. Capitol Dr. Entombment at Wisconsin Memorial Park. Leonard was born and grew up in Milwaukee 2 doors away from his future wife. He enlisted in the Army Air Corp in May of 1942 and served as a flight navigator in WWII, completing 53 missions and was discharged in 1958 as a Captain. Following the war, he attended UW Madison School of Business graduating in 1949. They raised their family in the best neighborhood on 97th and Nash, then moving to Brookfield in 1979. "Leasing Lenny" worked at Rank & Son Buick, retiring after 35 years as a VP. He taught us the Watusi dance, he raised strong self- sufficient kids, loved to have his night cap, drive antique cars in the circus parade, co-host the annual Rank & Son antique car show and displayed a lot of love and affection to his "chickie". A special thank you goes out to his daughter Debra Kirner Gregory for her outstanding love and devotion she gave caring for him the last 2 1/2 years. He was a proud Badger and Army Air Force veteran- Go Bucky!

To the Kirner Family,

My deepest sympathy and condolence to your Family. Even though I never had a full conversation with your Father, I am sure that the apples I have known thirty plus years did not fall far from that tree.

May the good Lord help you in this time of grief and give you the strength you need.

Len, you were a great friend and co-worker. I have many good memories from the "Good Ole Days" at Rank and Son Buick, and a lot of "crazy" things happened along the way too! You were Wally's "Right Hand Man", and you had your "Hands Full", but like Aaron Rogers, you always came through!
Len, as Bob Hope used say in closing, "THANKS FOR THE MEMORIES".
God Bless, and God Speed.

Sincerely,
Roland A ("Doc") Hoffman
