Dear Alison & All in the Family,
Mama, Gramma & Soul Sister Dor
has gone from the gravity of this earthen floor
to heaven's stage door;
her door here was always open to us and all,
and, as we prayed in church tonight,
may she and we rest and rise in peace,
while our hearts ache, yet beat like angel wings
until we meet again.
