Inkmann, Edward H. "Ed" Passed to Eternal Life Saturday July 12, 2014, age 90 years. Beloved husband of Kathlyn (nee Wickler). Dear father of Diane (Gary) Hamilton, David Inkmann, Debbie (Gene) Waller, Lynn (Steve) Bogart and Dawn (Al) Adams. Loving grandfather of Jason (Vanessa), Christopher and Justin Hamilton; Becky, Michael and Steven Inkmann; Jessica (Kevin) Forbes, John Waller, Margaret (Colin) Berninger; Lauren, Jacob and Carolyn Bogart; Samantha and Lindsey Adams. Also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews other relatives and many friends. Visitation Thursday, July 17, 2014 at St Matthias Church (9306 W. Beloit Rd.) 4 PM-5:45 PM with Mass of Christian Burial at 6PM. Interment St. Matthias Cemetery. Ed was a veteran of WWII, served as a combat medic and was awarded bronze star for bravery under fire. Member of St. Matthias choir for 44 years. Active in St. Vincent De Paul and parish feed the hungry program for many years. Retired employee of Miller Brewing Company after 35 years. In lieu of flowers memorials to St. Matthias Parish appreciated. He will be fondly remembered for his sense of humor, integrity, love of music, generous spirit and most importantly his great love of his family.
