Wisniewski, Edwin A. "Babe" Joined his wife, Florence (nee Sowinski) in God's loving arms on Thursday, July 12, 2012. Age of 90. Devoted father of Bruce (Karen) and Blaine (Nancy). Adoring grandpa of Kasia, Kirsten, Jana, Brett and Bridgett. Special Uncle of Elaine Laskaskie, Kenneth (Gloria) Kolodziejski, Timothy and Gary Sowinski and Sharon (Ralph) Oates. Further survived by other relatives and friends. Memorial gathering at Blessed John Paul II Parish, St. Alexander Church, 1554 W. Holt Ave., Saturday, August 11, 8:30-10AM. Memorial Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM. Entombment at St. Adalbert Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations will be shared with Eddie's favorite Charities. Eddie was a member of Tuckaway Country Club for over 40 years. He served on the Board of directors of the Old Time Ballplayers Association of Wisconsin and was elected to that organization's Hall of Fame. He proudly served his country as a Marine from 1941 to 1945 in the South Pacific, served on the Milwaukee Police Dept. for 16 years and was also employed by AMPCO Metal Inc. for 20 years.
