My memories of Aunt Eleanore are of a truly generous, caring and delightful woman. Its of comfort to know that shes now with Uncle George as well as catching up with her Slattery & Fogarty loves ones. May God bless her soul.

Grandma, you will forever be missed. You were the most loving, supportive, and caring grandma anyone could ask for. It is obvious, but not surprising, that you made a lasting impression on all who knew you. I love reading and listening to the stories. ❤ Until we meet again ❤

Our condolences to the Ruhland family. I had lived next door on 35th st. And remember Mrs. Ruhland and family well and your dog Flopsy? The rest of my family has passed away. Gosh that neighborhood sure changed. God bless her and all of you.

Eleanore was definitely a Slattery if she "used to grab a kid's ears to get them to listen." Her brother Bernard (my Grandfather) used to do that playfully to me and my brothers. It made me smile to remember that. I'm sorry for your loss and I hope that family, faith and friends help fill the void with love.
