Elmer Kison Obituary

Kison, Elmer A. "Emy" Of Cedarburg, went home to Heaven Aug. 26, 2009, age 81 years. Beloved husband of 60 years. to Joyce (nee Ladwig). Cherished dad of Cheryl (Kenneth) Miller, Bonnie (Gary) Johnson, and Jo'Ann (Donald) Libecap. Proud grandpa of Shawn (Holly) Miller, Erin (friend Daniel Schumann), and Johanna (Joseph) Kujawski. Loving great-grandpa of Lily Miller and Evelynn Kujawski. Brother-in-law of Viola Kison, Lorain Kison, Elmer (Margaret) Ladwig, and Christine Wittenberg. Further survived by other relatives and many friends. Preceded in death by infant son, Dale Kison, and brothers, Arnold, Herbert, Roland, and Albert Kison. Funeral Service Sunday, Aug. 30, 2009, 5PM at First Immanuel Lutheran Church (W67 N622 Evergreen Blvd.), Cedarburg. Interment Immanuel Cemetery. In state Sunday, at the church, 2PM until time of service. Memorials to the First Immanuel Guardian Angels Program appreciated. Emy was a lifelong resident of Cedarburg, a local carpenter, home-builder, and for 20 years. was the owner with his wife, Joyce, of Gingerbread Carpentry.
