Estelle T. "Stella" Gielecki

1957 - 2018

Gielecki, Estelle T. "Stella" (Nee Squicciarini) Born on August 31, 1957, passed away peacefully in her Houston home, surrounded by loving comfort from her family and friends on December 15, 2018. She now joins our beloved daughter Cassondra Leigh Gielecki (May 2, 1989 to January 15, 2005) in God's loving arms. She is survived by her husband Rich, daughter Bethany, parents John and Florence Squicciarini, brothers Rocco and Richard, along with nieces and nephews. Stella voluntarily stopped working as a phlebotomist to help raise Cassie and Beth. She was diagnosed with a rare disease in April, 2012, receiving a heart transplant later that year. She spent her remaining years by traveling and visiting family and friends. Complications from ongoing chemotherapy and immunosuppression overcame her. Everyone who met Stella, was a better person for it. We will all miss her. Visitation will be held on Friday, December 21, at CHURCH AND CHAPEL FUNERAL HOME, 380 Bluemound Rd., Waukesha, from 4-7 PM. Additional visitation will be held on Saturday, December 22, at QUEEN OF APOSTLES CATHOLIC CHURCH, N35 W32401 Capitol Dr., Pewaukee, from 1 PM until the Mass of Christian Burial at 2 PM.
