Mr. Bud made my life bearable at Merton Elementary school. He always had time for me no matter what was going on. He never lost his patience and was always friendly and had a smile for me. I considered him my best friend all through those years. I saw him 2 years ago at an election and was completely taken aback when he remembered me. I have been out of Merton school for 30+ years. I couldn't believe it. I drive past Mr. Buds home several times a week and always smile and think fondly of him. He will be missed. My sympathies to all his family.
