"Uncle Marvin" is what Felix called me. He was 4 years old when his family moved into the home next door to the home in which my mom, my brother and his family live. My brother's son happened to be the same age as Felix and they instantly became best friends. Even though I never lived in that home, (I lived overseas for 25 years) whenever I'd come for a visit, Felix would be right there alongside my nephew cheerfully greeting me, "Hi, uncle Marvin." As he grew up, it became apparent that he was an outstanding human being. You can read what others wrote about his warm smile and his warm consideration of others. They are not just kind words about a deceased person. Those words are all TRUE. Felix was a "one in a million" type person. He made me feel like I really WAS his uncle, and in turn, he became my nephew. Whenever I came home, I'd bring a gift for him just as I'd bring a gift for my own nephew. If you never knew him, please believe me when I say that he was not an ordinary human being. He had "it" -an aura around him. He was handsome, charming, polite, humble, respectful and extremely intelligent. I looked forward to meeting him whenever I'd return to the USA to visit my family. He'd ask interesting, insightful questions about my life overseas and listen attentively to my every word. A few years ago when my mom passed away, he was proud to serve as one of the pall bearers for his "granny." Tears flow from my eyes as I write this -just as they have flowed countless times since I heard the dreadful news of his passing. To The Walls Family, I offer my deepest, sincerest condolences at this time of your great loss. Your wonderful son touched deeply into the hearts of many people. To my nephew Felix: You are a remarkable human being. I will miss you for the rest of my life. Rest In Peace my nephew. Your Uncle Marvin mourns your loss deeply.

To the family of Felix, so sorry that you are going through this tragic loss!! Keep your faith in the Lord to help you get through the many sad days to come. Think of the memories you had, and I know the thought of his huge smile will help put a smile on your face. That is the one thing I keep thinking about was he had a beautiful smile!!

My heart goes out to the family and you all are continuously in my prayers. I knew Felix, but no that well, but well enough to know that he was a good person. It's ALWAYS sad when a young person dies, or any person for that matter, but what makes the pain fade (little by little) are the memories that were shared with the person while they were alive on earth. RIP Felix

I was so saddened when I heard the news of the passing of Felix. Felox was an extended part of the Highshaw family and he will truly be missed. He was always there when anything was going on. To the family , just know that God makes no mistakes and he is in a better place. I will continue to pray for the strength of the Walls family. Have faith and God will pull you through.

Felix I still can't believe that you're gone.. But you maynot be here in person but you will always remain in our hearts, you will never be forgotten but truly missed by so many... To the family of Felix you will always remain in my prayers and thoughts becasue I know that this is hard for you.. But always remember that he is in a safer place that we are trying to get too, God has just called another one of his angels home earlier than we expected.. May God bless, comfort, and keep you at this difficult time of your lives.. ~Lori-Ann Manuel, Messmer High School Class of 2006

I cannot be at Felix's funeral, but wanted to say I had Felix as a student at Messmer and adored him dearly. He was a sweet person who I enjoyed having around. I wish the family peace and love.
